Research Projects

 

The research projects run by CEFMR are organised under three general themes:

  • Theme D includes demographic or demo-economic projects, which are aimed at analysing or forecasting population and economic changes generated by migration.

  • Theme S includes research from the fields of sociology and political science, dealing with the social processes both generating and following the migration phenomena, integration of the migrants, as well as the impact of migration policies on international migration.

  • Theme T includes projects that focus on statistical issues, for example quality and completeness of the available information on international migration, as well as on production of demographic databases or yearbooks.
